About Us

C & R Musky Club was established in 1996.

Our 75 members are mostly from the Appleton, Wisconsin area.

Our charter is limited to 75 members so we don't outgrow our meeting place. Please feel free to contact us or fill out a waiting list form to get on our waiting list.

We are one of the Wisconsin Musky Alliance clubs.

We are a federally acknowledge non profit tax exempt organization and hold a Wisconsin raffle license.

We have an annually elected board which consist of:

One of the benefits our active members enjoy is if they catch a 50" plus fish and release it, the club will donate $200 towards a graphite reproduction. This award is only allowed once per member per lifetime.

Some of the other members who's names you may recognize are: Roger Watters, Terry Rockteschel, Jason Long, Pete Smith, Shane Mason, Jon Regal, Rody Breke, Eric Larsen, and Rick Weyenberg.

Our club meetings and events are held in a fashion to promote camaraderie amongst members. Many friendships have been forged within our membership and other area clubs.

Meetings

Our meetings are held in a formal fashion allowing all members present to vote on current club issues.

We hold our monthly club meetings at Perk's Super Club in beautiful downtown Medina, Wisconsin on the first Tuesday of the month at 7PM, just a few miles West of Appleton on State Highway 96.

Many of our meetings include a big name guest speaker.

Anyone interested in our club is invited to attend one of our meetings but after the first meeting we ask that you join the club if you wish to attend any more.

We do not have a meeting in February or July.

PLEASE COME CHECK US OUT, IT WILL BE WORTH YOUR TIME IF YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN MUSKY FISHING WHAT SO EVER.

The yearly dues are $20 and due by January 15th. New members also receive a very nice C & R Musky Club hat.

Annual Activities

Our yearly banquet is held in place of our February meeting.

Our club has a joint club challunge outing with Figure 8 Muskie Club on Shawano Lake and a fall outing which changes lakes every year. Our past 3 fall outings were held on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage.

Our club members fish many different tournaments including:

The National Championship by the Musky Clubs Alliance, The World Musky Hunt, PMTT, Rollie & Helen's, Simply Fishing's Muskie Classic, Paul's Pro Am, WMT, MRG Invitational, and the Titletown Best of the Best Tournaments.

Our club activities include yearly musky stocking, a $500 scholarship to a local student pursuing an environmental degree, an adopted needy family during Christmas, and volunteers for the annual Mosquito Hill Nature Center's Musky Magic Show.

Our best financial year of 2007 allowed us to stock $1,500 in a joint effort of many area clubs which totaled $11,000 in Shawano Lake.
